Department of Agronomy, Food, Natural Resources, Animals and Environment (DAFNAE), University of Padova, has a mission to promote the quality of human life, the competitiveness of the agrifood sector, and the sustainable use of biotic and abiotic natural resources, through the production and dissemination of knowledge of the management and improvement of plants, animals, soil and microorganisms. Efforts focus on the production of high-quality food and biomass, ensuring the preservation of ecological systems, of plants and animal health, and enhancement of crop environments and biodiversity.
